Salal Credit Union is offering $100 to new checking account holders

Salal Credit Union is offering new customers who open a checking account up to $100 cash by September 30, 2011.

New customers will receive $100 after they open a new account at the credit union and begin direct deposits.

Funds deposited must be new money from another institution.

Here are the rules:

Open a Free Checking account with a minimum opening balance of $25 by the deadline.
Keep the account for at least 90 days after account opening.
Sign up for monthly direct deposit such as and complete one bill payment within 90 days.
Bonuses will be applied by January 2012.

All accounts are FDIC-insured up to $250,000.
