Marriott/Chase Offers New Visa Card Customers Free Hotel Nights and Gift Cards

The Marriott/Chase Visa Card will give you 50,000 free bonus points, exchangeable for gift cards or hotel stays

Marriott is offering free hotel nights or gift cards to first-time Marriott/Chase Rewards Credit Card Cardmembers with new accounts.

New customers will receive 50,000 Bonus Points which may be redeemed for hotel stays or gift cards. The cards it seems, cannot be redeemed directly for cash.

Here are the rules:

Get the Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card from Chase
Receive 50,000 bonus points after your first use of the card.
You’ll also receive an anniversary bonus of one free night stay at a category 1-5 hotel every year!.

There are a few stipulations such as earning 1 Elite night credit for each $3,000 in net purchases. Also, allow for 6 to 8 weeks after account opening for your Free Night Stay E-Certificate to be automatically deposited into your Marriott Rewards Account
