Can Congress Become Less Popular than Fidel Castro?
Senator Michael Bennet has released the above graphic, showing the height (or depths) of Congress’s unpopularity. Believe it or not, Congress is less popular than Hugo Chavez and the prospect of the U.S. becoming communist. Ouch!
Can Congress become any less liked? Well, wait until the debt super committee tasked to cut the deficit winds up without agreement and with a bucketful of acrimony. That may take Congress down another few percentage points – below Fidel Castro’s popularity.
The good news is that you can’t go lower than 0%.
