Is There a Crisis of Capitalism?

By now you probably have that nagging feeling that we appear to be lurching from one crisis to another in the world economy.  One day it’s gold, another day its excessive debt in the US, the next, its the collapsing Eurozone.  throw in the occasional oil shock and global recession and it certainly feels we could be doing some things better.

In the video below, celebrated academic David Harvey takes a very critical look at capitalism and tries to come to grips with some of its perplexing anomalies. He asks whether we can find a more responsible, just, and humane economic system.
